Upscaling Section
The upscaling equipment at NPRC are semi-commercial and include an Essential Oil Distiller for extracting oils from herbs, an Oil Expeller for extracting fixed oils from seeds and nuts, and a Rotor Mill (SR 300) for grinding dry herbal materials into powder of different mesh.
Essential Oil Distiller
Enables extraction of volatile aromatic compounds (essential oils) from plant material through distillation.
Oil Expellers
These machines use high pressure and heat to squeeze oil-bearing materials like seeds and nuts.
Rotor Mill
It effectively reduces the size of soft, hard, and fibrous plant sample material to desired particle sizes for further processing or analysis.
Sachet Machine
Automatically fills and seals individual sachets with a variety of products, such as powders or granules.
Continuous Band Sealer
It’s a bag or pouch sealer that uses heat and pressure to create strong, consistent seals continuously as bags or pouches move along a conveyor belt.
Weighing Balance
It accurately measures the mass of incoming and outgoing samples.
Shrink Combi Machine
The machine seals and shrink-wraps products in a continuous, semi-automated process.
Oil Filter
Filters out solid impurities, seed residue, and fine particles from freshly extracted oil.
