Microbiology Laboratory at NPRC
Microbiological analysis of samples, raw materials and finished products are carried out in the microbiology lab. The microbiology laboratory also collaborates with other specialized laboratories, such as the chemistry lab, to enhance the depth and accuracy of sample analysis. Advanced equipment like liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), found in chemistry labs, plays a crucial role in the detailed examination of microbial metabolites, identification of unknown compounds, and analysis of complex biochemical interactions. This interdisciplinary cooperation allows for a more comprehensive understanding of microbial processes and improves the quality of research and diagnostics.
